hahaha

Because I can...

In response to [livejournal.com profile] moit's rarepairing challenge for Frodoay Flash Fiction, I wrote this...

Hiss

“The tricksy hobbits! I beg you to forgive me! Come to Smeagol, gollum, gollum, I've balm for your wounds.”

Shelob staggered forward on multiple legs.

Fire smoldered in Gollum's heart. Shelob's many eyes mirrored a soul deep with ancient wisdom, always hungry. The smoldering in his heart burst into hateful flames toward the hobbits – especially the fat one with the sword. Frodo would get his, yes, precious, he would know what it felt to be questioned by Him.

Gollum sang, a buried tune from a time in green, sunny places, and he rubbed balm on Shelob's abdomen.
