Frodo shouted out the foulest curse he could think of, something that Bilbo had once whispered to him that he had heard from the goblins under the Misty Mountains. He had a satisfying moment to see Strider’s calm façade turn to shock before Frodo punched him fiercely in the belly. Strider actually stumbled backward in surprise and in pain.
