I'm howling here, SCREAMING with laughter at Aragorn's struggles. Oh, this is one of the best TLTW stories ever. Every bit of it is just stuck in my mind now, from that WONDERFUL bedroom (I want, no I *need* a bed shaped like a boat so I can float in the midst of the painted walls).
You put in the bit about the baby booth? Ah, that was great, just great. I particularly liked the bit about Ellohir and his desire for a baby brother who be more like him. The bit about the big boys calling him "halfing" and his not being sure whether it was a good term or not was just so spot on. I had something similar when I was growing up, and it just rings very true how you did that.
Oh, what a great tantrum. I was just squirming for Aragorn (when I wasn't shrieking with laughter) as he tried to cope. Heh, just like the woman said, even a King has to deal with a screaming child.
