Amen! You have voiced my thoughts perfectly on that, and I really dig the way you've interwoven the movie with your story. It gives it another dimension. Also, Faramir's plight (in the movie) I'm beginning to think is that he doesn't want to seem too kind in front of his men. The poor little ones have to suffer b/c of that.

Oh, and I like the bit about Frodo's voice. I've always thought that myself. *winks*
