I so much enjoyed having you here, it seems like ages ago already.

I know you're partying heavy in Las Vegas right now, but I wanted to offer you a wee bit of birthday present for if and when you have time.

I've decided to share what I've started so far of the estate fic we talked about! :) Obviously it's not betaed or even edited right now. If I didn't have to go to work, I would tweak it more, but I figured you might just enjoy reading the scene! :)

On the Allerton estate, just after the Great War, Zeke and Casey meet on Zeke's estate (haha yeah, Zeke Allerton, yes this is AU, and yes I am aware that the sun singer statue was actually made in 1929, not 1919). Things happen. Angst happens. Epic stuff, too. Eventually. :))
