Eomer’s jaw clenched as he opened the door to his chamber. Passing by his father’s burial site always brought tears to his eyes. To ascend to the throne meant masking his grief, allowing himself to weep only in private.
Once undressed, he slipped under the covers.
“You’re back.” Soft arms, unyielding in their strength, wrapped around his neck.
“Stay with me here in Edoras, Frodo,” Eomer said, kissing pointed halfling ear, letting his lips roam over Frodo’s jaw and placing hungry nips on silky neck skin. “There is naught else for me.”
Frodo groaned, pressing against the Man’s taut chest.
