I do not know ladysnaps at all, but I do know that LJ is one big extended family, and I have found out that she lost everything in a fire.

You can go to PayPal.com to make a donation even if you don’t have a PayPal account. Just click on "Send Money" at the top of the home page. The email address to use is ennelady@yahoo.com. The money will stay in ladysnaps’s PayPal account until she chooses to transfer it to her bank account. If you don’t have a PayPal account, you will be asked for credit card information.

If anyone does not want to use PayPal and would prefer to mail a donation directly to her, please send an LJ personal message or email me at yeuxdebleu@livejournal to get her real name (if you don’t know it) and the mailing address.

Anyone who wants to post this information in their own LJ or website, please feel free to do so.

Unfortunately, I have to work Tuesday from 9:00 – 4:00 PM and won’t have computer access until the evening. If anyone has questions or needs the mailing address, I’ll answer as soon as I can tomorrow evening. I am leaving this entry unlocked so people who are not on my flist can read it.

If you saw the entry I did in ladysnaps’s LJ (which will be posted as soon as I post this and log into her LJ,) you know how grateful she is for all the love and support being shown by her friends here at LJ. You have been amazing friends and I thank you, too.

I thought of azrhiaz immediately when I heard this news. It's because of what happened to your friend that I, to this day, never leave a space heater plugged in when I'm not in the same room with it, nor leave anything near one (rug or towel).

It's happened to me, too, but I didn't lose nearly as much as poor Ladysnaps. I'm glad she's getting good support.

oh gosh, I had forgotten about that. :( I had a fire in my apartment complex once, but I was very lucky because not only did I get out, but my particular apartment had no damage. The person in the apartment where the fire started was injured, but nobody else was hurt or affected.
