S/N: Oh, perhaps a bit AU, given that Frodo had never met Boromir pre-council, but it’s mostly book!verse.
Allow me to explain. This story was originally going to be a long WIP that was an AU F/F slash fic. I lost interest in it and could not get the mojo back to continue it. I decided to rework it and make it into a short story (gen) with a different focus. Some of the few of you who might have read that original version may find some paragraphs familiar. Other parts have been changed. And sorry for you Faramir lovers, but Faramir is not in this version.
