Frodo opened his eyes to find himself in the House of Healing again. Faramir's concerned face hovered above him.
“What happened?” he croaked.
Faramir brushed his hand over Frodo's brow. “You fainted during the ceremony dinner. The King brought you here.”
“Oh, dear,” Frodo cringed. “Poor Strider.”
“Forget not that without you, there would be no ceremony.” Faramir kissed his lips. “And I would not have found my heart.”
“And I, mine,” Frodo said when he managed to catch his breath. “But your kiss has more balm than any of Strider's athelas.”
