It is so difficult to be a cat! How the poor dears suffer! But they look so adorable and majestic doing it that we simply do not give them all the treats, pets, and sun puddles they deserve.

Please give them my most sincere apologies for the lateness of my reply to their gracious birthday greetings. Just anoher example of what kitties have to put up with from us silly useless humans.

I had a lovely day for my birthday. My mother, sister and I did a road trip to a couple of small towns down the road a bit from where they live. We went shopping in cute little boutiques and had lunch in a quaint little cafe and the three of us shared a single (massive) piece of the most delicious coconut cream pie, baked in the store just that morning. So good! So I had Birthday Pie with my mother and my sister. It was a good day. And your lovely post contributed greatly in making the day special. Thank you.
